I was chosen out of a group of designers to design a logo for an organization in Charlotte, Crescent Coalition. I crafted the logo for Crescent Coalition, a collaborative organization formed by nine Charlotte-Mecklenburg nonprofits: Carolina Youth Coalition, Friedland Foundation, Gardhouse, GenOne, Greater Steps Scholars, Road to Hire, UrbanPromise, The Academy of Goal Achievers, and Wayfinders. The fusion of two letters Cs symbolizes collaboration and unity. The collision of the Cs forms the foundation, representing the coming together of diverse ideas and perspectives. Additionally, a graduation hat, embodying education and growth as essential elements of the coalition's identity. This logo reflects a meaningful integration of design elements that visually communicate the values and purpose of Crescent Coalition, as well as the impact it has had on the lives it has touched and changed.
With a sense of accomplishment, I am pleased to share my success in a recent design competition held among my respected colleagues. Amongst our creative work, my design for the Crescent Coalition stood out and was recognized for its unique symbols and appealing look.
